OK, I realised I hadn't done an update to the web-site for a long time, and so much has changed recently, I though I better do one.

And boy..is it a big one !!!!

We sadly had to ask Ac3_2001 to leave the squad, as he clearly wasn't fitting in and not enjoying the way we played the game.

Crew
We have had some new and very welcome recruits to the Squad:

FluxFuker - an experienced pilot who has joined our numbers.

nighthwk - a new(ish) player in the Jumpgate universe and who liked the look of the way we play the game.

lukan - formerly of I.A.A. who have now disbanded due to Two-Side becoming a GM.

Devilian - defected from Fatal Shadows (our current enemies) and is a useful addition to RD.

SkaiWooki - another new(ish) player to Jumpgate and welcome in the squad.

RD_cat - our very own ship's cat, who is levelling quickly, but who likes to sleep alot in his ship.

I have now created individual bio pages for every member of RD crew. All exisiting crew bios have been brought up to date as well.

Anyone who wishes to have their picture and a bio added to their respective pages, please send them to me at:

Guide Pages

I have added some Guides to the site for both newbies and experienced pilots to look at:

  This tells you all you need to know about mining. Includes a tutuorial on How to use the Rotacol modx.

  Being the Vain Chap that I am, this guide tells you what you need to know about medals and good ways to get them.

  Does what it says on the tin. Tells you about locating wrecks, retrieving artefacts and what they are.

Squad Diplomatics

I have now changed the squad diplomatics on the right hand side to use the Plantjumpgate Squad Dimplomatics server/script. This means that updates made on PJG by Command Staff are immediately reflected on here.

The down-side, is if this server is down, you won't see them here.

A BIG RD welcome to our newest recruit Ac3_2001.

Please note that the political statuses with other squads have been updated. We now have full working alliances with I.A.A. and _The Pub_ and we have a TENSION rating with Fatal Shadows.

I have once again updated all pilots and included a new bio for Starbugg.

I have also added a new picture to the Recroom.

I have once again updated all pilots and included our new members on the crew page...although they need to send a bio or pic for me to put their bio page up.

I have also removed Fatal Shadows from NAPs cos of what's been happening.

I have placed my report of the mission to follow DET-SAW on a seperate page that can be found here: DET-SAW Mission Report

My thanks to all the pilots who took part in this mission. We are not sure what DET-SAW are up to, but we intend to find out !!!

Extra thanks go to Nerox and EvilFish for getting some mining gear together and attempting to duplicate what DET-SAW were doing in Hyperian Hook. Whilst they achieved no spectacular results, this in itself proves that DET-SAW were not using ordinary "mining" equipment.

I have once again updated all pilots, and added pip344 who sent me his picture (and bio). I have also updated erCo who sent his pic.

Future developments on web-site will include mission reports etc, however, due to the secret nature of some of these, we will be editing the reports.

Ok, due to so many peeps leveling up from doing the Amananth Faction Mission etc. I have updated all the pilots again.

Apologies to those I haven't put up on the site yet... I will do it over the next few days.

And lets get those pictures and pilot histories to me dudes. It's much better if you write them than me.

I have done a few to give you some ideas etc.

I have now begun to add crew bios etc. Please forward a crew bio/pilot history to put on the page if I haven't written one for you, or you would like to replace mine with one of your own. If you wish to have your picture on your bios, please e-mail them to me at simon@nomis.demon.co.uk

I have also added a new page "The Recreation Room" where I will post humorous anecdotes and pictures :)
